Certification Requirements for Ancient Wisdom Birth include for birth doula (and up coming postpartum doula):
1. At least 5 clients and/or 10 hours of community work with client.
2. Client evaluation is necessary.
3. Mentorship is available upon request. 
4. Open book final exam. 
5. Recertification every 3 years - we will look for approved CEU's. 
6. We are working on an Ethics and Grievance policy statements and will post soon. 
7.  Our organization is  non-profit community based without a board of directors. 8. Yes, there is a certification process after initial training workshop (if in person) or ongoing for online classes.
